Didn’t think I would log a century ride today. Ride on the Lake Moultrie dike was taxing. It was windy and the trail was spongy from the recent rains. The best segment was on Hwy 45 where I had a nice tailwind. Without that I probably wouldn’t have made this a century ride. For the first time since Tuesday the temperature was comfortable, hanging around in the 60’s℉ for a while.
Finished the ride after sundown and the temperature dropped to 48℉.
2019 goal update: If all goes well I will achieve my 10,000th mile on Saturday. I’m at 9,912.
Pretty good day on the saddle.
Ride on. ☮
